Konrad Dannenberg
Konrad Dannenberg was born on August 5th, 1912 in a German Empire. In 1940, Dannenberg became a rocket propulsion specialist; he created a rocket engine for the V-2 ballistic missile. After World War II, Dannenberg was moved to the United States for Project Paper Clip, where he and other scientists created missiles. In 1960, he joined NASA Space Flight Center where he became Deputy Manger on project Saturn. In 1973, Dannenberg finished the Saturn V, which was the largest rocket ever built and succeed in taking humans to the moon. That same year Dannenberg retired and in February of 2009 he passed away in Alabama, United States.
