Cecil Brown
Cecil Brown was born on September 14th, 1907. Brown worked for CBS in Italy, where he wrote on Benito Mussolini. The country disagreed with his writing and he was kicked out of the country. From there Brown moved to Singapore and covered the war until 1942 when he moved back to the United States. Brown retired from broadcasting in 1967 and died on October 25th, 1987.
