Germany
The home front of Germany was largely laid-back for most of the war. Hitler did not place restrictions on how much resources citizens could use because Hitler believed that the restrictions that were placed during World War 1 had decreased their morale and was one of the reasons that Germany had lost the war in the first place. Instead of using the citizens of Germany to help produce for the military, the government had brought in many immigrants from countries that were conquered by Germany. These workers where treated poorly which had led to poor production for the Germans.
